Why the Extreme Balance Board?

There are many different styles of balance training equipment.  Many of them are effective balance trainers but we believe that the Extreme Balance Board is the best.  Through its unique, patented, properties of motion, the Extreme Balance Board is the only balance training device that provides independent and simultaneous movement through three planes of motion.  Because we live in a three dimensional world, the ability to move through all three planes is critical to achieving the most comprehensive balance training workout possible.

The Extreme Balance Board consists of a platform that is wide enough for position of function/ready stance exercises positioned over a flexible urethane centre support.  This combination rests on a wooden rocker.  The combination of component parts allows for movement through the vertical, horizontal and transverse plane, the x,y,z axis.  The urethane stop members (omega rings) on the side serve to partially restrict motion so as to allow for gradual entry into balance training.  With the wodden plugs removed from the omega rings the Extreme Balance Board becomes more unstable, yet the design allows for various exercises to be performed, although,,,,,, All you need is ONE.

There are many ways to train your balance and many products upon which to train.  Whichever product or however you choose to train your balance, just train your balance, but don't be fooled by bright colors or colorful packaging.  Neither be fooled by gimmicks.  Just because you can bounce on a product does not mean that it is a good balance trainer.  Simply stand on the Extreme Balance Board, then try the rest.  We are confident that, although you may choose another piece of equipment, you will agree that the Extreme Balance Board is the best for pure balance training. 

In order to train your balance, it is important to be out of balance.  Do not choose equipment that is easy to balance on as that conflicts with the whole idea of training.  You should not need a complicated workout program to train your balance effectively.  The more complex a program is, the less likely that the product is a good balance trainer.  Like we said earlier, you can perform many different exercises on the Extreme Balance Board but you can derive great benefit from simply doing one basic exercise, and that is to simply stand on the Extreme Balance Board.
